We are pleased to announce that Sauro & Bergstrom, PLLC is the Minnesota Unified Certification Program’s newest DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) company for construction projects. As a 100% women-owned law firm, we have been approved as a DBE small business providing legal services including contract formation, insurance and risk management consultation, and representation in other contracting areas.
When federal funds are used to pay for a construction project in Minnesota, the contractor who is hired must commit to meeting DBE goals. The company must subcontract a certain percentage of the overall contract to DBEs, or at least prove it made a good-faith effort to do so. Sauro & Bergstrom, PLLC looks forward to helping contractors meet their goals by providing valuable assistance on construction projects.
