Sauro & Alton PLLC is pleased to announce that attorney Meghan M. Refinski has joined the firm as of June 2nd.
Ms. Refinski graduated cum laude from Marquette University Law School in 2012 with a Certificate in Litigation. At Marquette, she also dedicated herself to several leadership and volunteer positions. Ms. Refinski received her B.A. in English from Davidson College in 2006.
Ms. Refinski has been an advocate in the courtroom as a clerk with the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office and Cook County Office of the Public Guardian. While attending law school, she honed her appellate advocacy skills as a competitor in the moot court program and a judicial intern for the Honorable Patience Drake Roggensack of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Prior to joining Sauro & Bergstrom, Ms. Refinski served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joseph A. Bueltel and the Honorable Karen R. Duncan of the Third Judicial District, where she became learned in effective advocacy.
Ms. Refinski is admitted to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin Supreme Courts, as well as the Federal District Courts for the State of Wisconsin. She is also a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and Minnesota Women Lawyers Association.
